Matador Whitsundays Reviews

Great outing and amazing snorkeling. The crew were friendly and informative and both the morning tea and lunch were delicious. The weather was overcast and cool when we headed out, but the crew made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the entire trip. Unlike many of the tours we’ve done like this, the winds were great and we actually got a couple good sails in. After the snorkeling we hit a beach and had access to glass bottom kayaks and paddle boards. It was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

he tour I did with the skipper Arni and the crew girls Victoria and Savannah was amazing. We snorkeled at two very famous places to see the great barrier reef and the girls never left us hungry, through the whole trip we had freshly cooked food, which consisted of 2 lunches 1 dinner 1 breakfast and snacks. Arni was friendly enough to share his knowledge about the sea and the boat and he was respectful to his crew members at all times. Savanna was taking care of us in the waters and she really reminded me of a mermaid 😄. Victoria was always helpful and double checking the safety of everybody. The boat was equipped with two toilets which was good. Arni was attentive and arranged our stay on White heaven beach in a way that we would be some sort of almost alone on the island before the other tours arrive which gave us a better experience. Smart move. I think a one night tour is more than enough to experience the true beauty of the islands and sailing. The people were respectful and nice at all times. Totally recommend.

Had a wonderful time on the Matador. Dave the Captain and his crew took good care of us and and took us to some amazing secret places around the Whitsunday islands. So much wildlife to see, Stingrays, baby lemon sharks.. Snorkelled with thousands of fish and turtles and saw incredible corals. Such an amazing time. Thank you again !

We had a lovely trip. It was definitely the highlight of my 4 months east coast trip. We swam with turtles, saw sharks and stingrays, snorkeled with fishes bigger than myself,… The crew was very very nice and the captain showed us a special place and told us the aboriginal history of the place. I would definitely recommend it!!
