Day One
Depart Abell Point Marina at 2pm and sail to Hook Passage, this is where you will experience your first snorkelling activity. Discover the wonders of the coral gardens abundant of marine life.
Cruise to either Tongue Bay or Nara Inlet for a stunning Whitsunday sunset and overnight anchorage.
Day Two
Habibi tries to be one of the first boats to visit the Hill Inlet Lookout and Whitehaven Beach in the morning to avoid the crowds and so that the beach appears deserted without even a foot print.
After 2.5 – 3 hours on the beach, it’s back onboard, get the music cranking for your big sail to the top of Hook Island – your cruise will try and encourage all guests to get involved with the sailing by hoisting the sails and taking the helm, even if it is for photos! As you are sailing along the crew will conduct a reef teach and provides guests with the history of the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef for a better appreciation of the surroundings with maps and fish charts.
Habibi snorkels at a variety of snorkelling locations including Blue Pearl Bay, Langford Reef, Mantaray Bay, Maureens Cove, Cataran Bay, Stone Haven and Pitt Stop. You will generally do 2 afternoon snorkels at 2 different fringing reefs
Habibi will anchor in one of the protected bays at Hook Island on her second night to be perfectly placed to capture the evening sunset.
Day Three
Habibi generally motors to her last snorkel destination early morning and gives guests the opportunity to do a pre and post breakfast snorkel and or swim. Sail back to Abell Point Marina, Airlie Beach, arriving between 11:00am/11.30am
*Please note this is a sample itinerary only, there is no set itinerary for the overnight cruises as your cruise is based on the weather and tidal conditions we experience at the time of travel.
